At The Helm all started when I couldn't find a set of birth affirmations I liked in the lead up to my second child's arrival. After having so much fun designing my own set and finding them so affective when the time came,  I opened an Etsy shop in 2019 to offer those very same affirmations as a printable download to other birthing parents.1600 Etsy sales later and www.atthehelm.co.nz was born. 

What started with a simple idea of printable birth affirmations to inspire other parents-to-be, grew into an online store filled with custom prints, gifts, digital downloads and motivational decor all focused on celebrating life's big moments, calmness, and helping others achieve a more positive mindset.

Sometimes we all need a little motivation and help staying positive in our day-to-day lives, and this is what my extra special creations aim to do. Whether it's preparing for birth or celebrating a new life, the uplifting words and designs are here to help spread happiness together.
